The Ozonator!

Wow!  Talk about great service!  We called Troy because he was recommended to us by another agent.  We had listed a home for sale which had a tenant who smoked in the house.  Despite painting the home from top to bottom, replacing carpeting, and having the home professionally cleaned, all of our feed back from agents showing the home was that the home smelled of cigarette smoke.  We received a "low ball" offer with the buyer justifying the low offer due to the cost involved in ridding the home of the smell.

We called Troy and he was out the very next day!  He explained the process to me and how it works.  He also guaranteed that it would work or we would not have to pay him a penny.  What did we have to lose?  He explained that the entire process from start to finish would take 36 hours and that no one would be allowed in the home for this period of time.  We were not able to have any showings for a day and a half and took the risk of taking the home off the market to have the process started.

Once the process was completed he visited the property twice to make sure he had been successful.  We resumed showings and, in the first day, we received an offer for 99.5% of asking price.  None of the 8 agents who toured the home after re-starting showings indicated that they smelled cigarette smoke or any other odors.  The Ozonator had been successful and we had sold the home that no one wanted due to the smoke smell.

Troy's quick service, his explanation of the process, his guarantee and his follow up are rare finds in today's business environment.  We will, and already have, recommended him to other agents, friends and business associates.  We would confidently call him again if the need arose.

Troy, thank you for being a stand-out in the crowd!

"When we bought our house 18 years ago, it had been used as a rooming house.  There was one room in particular that had been smoked in heavily. The walls and window were coated in thick, yellow nicotine which had to be scraped off with a razor blade. The air hit you like a wall when you entered the room and was unbearably toxic. We cleaned up as best as we could. Washed all the surfaces, primed with stain blocking primer, repainted, sanded the floor and replaced the window.  We rented that floor of the house out as an apartment.

Flash forward to 6 months ago and we took over that floor. That room now became my son's bedroom. While I thought the room was still a little musty smelling, it was only after coming back from vacation and opening the door after it had been shut for 5 days, that I realized there was still a problem. Again, when you opened the door, there was that wave of nicotine smell.  It was much fainter, but even after all those years, it was still there. The smell dissipated with the door open, but I realized that I wasn't comfortable with exposing my 8 year old son to possible toxins in the air.  I found Troy's website and contacted him. He got in touch with me promptly and we arranged for him to treat my son's room.

I found Troy to be extremely professional and personable.  He explained clearly what he was doing while setting up the Ozone treatment. He'd already told me beforehand how I had to prepare and what items I should remove from the room. The ozone ran for about 4 hours. I continued to work in the house while it was running (the room was completely sealed.)  After the treatment was done, we let the room air out afterwards and the room certainly smelled nice and fresh immediately. The real test though was about a month later when we went on vacation again and we sealed the room. As soon as we came back from vacation, the first thing I did was walk in my son's room. The room smelt wonderful, absolutely no nicotine odour left at all.

I'm thrilled with the ozone treatment. It worked like a charm. The ozone treatment was fast, easy and most importantly, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. Troy is very friendly and efficient. He clearly knows what he's doing and I would highly recommend his ozone treatment for anyone who has a similar issue in their house."
